Chris Wiles, Portfolio Manager

Serving as a Portfolio Manager at Medallion Wealth Management Chris brings over 35 years of experience in multiple positions within the financial industry. Chris is able to leverage his extensive background in his portfolio management role at the firm.

Prior to joining Medallion Chris most recently served as an Investment Officer at Ayco-Goldman Sachs. Chris has also held prominent investment positions at Mellon Bank, Federated Hermes, and National City Bank. When Chris was not working at a major investment firm he founded his own mutual fund company which he was able to successfully build and sell to Strong Capital Management in 2002. While managing the Federated Equity-Income Fund Chris was named by Barron’s as the number one Equity-Income Manager for the 1992-1997 time period.

Chris also enjoys teaching investment analysis. Chris taught Securities Analysis at Duquesne University from 2015-2018 and is currently active in the CFA Society Pittsburgh.

Outside of the office Chris enjoys fly fishing, biking, and catching up on the latest industry periodicals. Chris and his wife Debbie are long-term residents of Mt. Lebanon, PA, and also enjoy spending time at their vacation home on Kiawah Island.
